An excellent investment alternative that automatically “sweeps” excess checking account funds into an interest bearing account putting otherwise idle funds to work for you.  A “target” balance to eliminate fees is determined for the checking account and each day funds are swept in and out to maintain the target balance.  Although not FDIC Insured, funds are collateralized with US Government backed securities, adjusted daily to cover the amount of funds on deposit.
